Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Millwright will be responsible for installing and repairing machinery and equipment in the organization. This will be done with safety, quality and production in mind. Machine troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and preventative maintenance. Reading blueprints, sketches proficiently to fabricate equipment and make modifications. Repair or replace chains; belt conveyors; gear boxes/drive chains; hydraulics & pneumatics; welding/cutting and using power tools. Qualifications Education Required: Trade Certification or Associate's degree Including Military Occupation courses and apprenticeships Years of Experience Required: 2-5 years of experience in maintenance in an industrial environment. Experience working with stationary equipment used in some type of production process. Ability to work in a team environment that is committed to working safe, while focusing on improving production and maintaining quality. Previous sawmill experience and welding certification is an asset. Strong interpersonal skills are required. Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting is required. Ability to work evenings/nights.
