Responsibilities Ensure patient comfort from check-in to check-out Educate patients about the oral systemic connection, treatment needs, post‑op instructions, and what to expect during procedures Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed for procedures Execute your part to completion in each office process to set your surrounding team members up for success (and they'll do the same for you!) Sterilize instruments according to state regulation and office standards Assist the dentist through 4‑handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Keep rooms clean and well‑stocked Take quality radiographs using the ALARA principle Maintain impeccable patient records Skills Prior dental assisting experience Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Intermediate-to-advanced Word Processing Skills Intermediate Computer Skills Excellent communication skills Well‑organized DANB radiology certificate Hiring Preference given to candidates who have graduated from an assisting program Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA) Benefits 401k with matching program Health benefits In-house dental benefits Annual OSHA certification Bi-annual CPR certification Reimbursement for Continuing Education courses Annual health and wellness reimbursement (for your peloton, gym membership, or other health membership) And lastly, We don't forget to have fun - Work Hard, Play Hard!
