Inspire Dental is a patient-centered dental practice committed to providing high-quality care in a welcoming, professional environment. We are a Doctor owned practice who has been serving the Firestone, CO community for over a decade. We are currently in the process of an expanding from 4 to 7 operatories and have the need to add another Hygienest. Our Doctor began her career as a hygienest and understands the importanceof this critical role.

We are looking for a skilled, friendly, and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team and help deliver excellent preventive care, while educating our patients and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Position Summary
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting optimal oral health. This role includes performing routine cleanings, examining patients for signs of oral diseases such as gingivitis and periodontal disease, taking digital dental radiographs, and assisting dentists with patient care. Dental hygienists play a key role in promoting overall health by identifying oral issues early and guiding patients in proper brushing, flossing, and dietary habits. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient comfort and care are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Take and document complete patient medical and dental histories;
• Record periodontal charting and clinical notes accurately;
• Capture digital dental radiographs in accordance with state guidelines;
• Apply preventive materials including fluoride and sealants as indicated;
• Identify and communicate signs of periodontal disease, decay, and other oral health concerns to the doctor;
• Assist with patient comfort and anxiety reduction through excellent chairside manner;
• Maintain proper infection control standards and sterilization protocols (OSHA/HIPAA compliant).

Experience

• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office or clinic environment;
• Willing to consider a recent graduate for the right candidate;
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical coding procedures;
• Familiarity with dental software. Experience with Curve is highly preferred but we are willing to train on our cloud based software;
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess individual needs and communicate effectively;

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of Colorado;
• CPR/BLS certification (current or ability to obtain quickly);
• Strong knowledge of preventive dentistry and periodontal therapy;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• High attention to detail and strong documentation habits;
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude;
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and compassion;
• Experience with digital X-rays and electronic charting software;
• Familiarity with intraoral scanning and patient education tools;
• Experience with periodontal therapy protocols and patient coaching;
• Bilingual (a plus, not required).
