Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,331 per week in Omaha, NE

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 45-bed Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit serving adult patients with acute and chronic conditions including sepsis, respiratory illnesses, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine conditions, and cardiac diseases
Administer and manage IV drips as required across all floors
Utilize digital tools including digital door signs, digital whiteboards, and virtual nursing and patient monitoring systems to support communication and patient safety
Float within scope to meet facility staffing needs across multiple units, including potential float to an additional campus;

travelers are first to float and must be prepared to float frequently
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including CNAs, care techs, transport team, and swoop/paramedics
Document all patient care using

EPIC electronic health records
Required Qualifications
Active RN license

(Nebraska RN state license required; pending license accepted, though confirmed start date will be scheduled six weeks out if license is not in hand at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience in a large, urban hospital setting; first-time travelers not accepted (exception considered for candidates with 2 years of experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center)
BLS certification required
Proficiency with IV drip management required
EPIC charting experience required
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
ACLS certification preferred
CPI certification preferred
NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
Experience working in a teaching hospital or academic medical center environment
