Job Title: Assistant Property Manager Location: Arlington, Virginia Company: Berkshire Residential Investments Job Overview Assist the Property Manager with daily administrative duties, training, sales, and customer service. The role is centered on resident relations, collections, leasing support, and ensuring high resident satisfaction. Responsibilities Maintain accurate resident records and update daily. Manage and encourage electronic payments through the Resident Portal. Maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends. Contribute ideas to the Property Manager for financial success and improving resident satisfaction. Utilize interpersonal skills to deal effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. Maintain professional resident communications via verbal and written communications. Mentor and assist the leasing team; serve as the go‑to person. Provide excellent customer service to prospective and existing residents and team members. Qualifications At least two years of experience in the apartment industry. Experience managing people (preferred). Ability to adapt to new technologies. Basic understanding of a property budget. Proficiency in writing, speaking, and understanding English.
