Nurse Practitioner - Oncology | Flexible 3 Day Shifts | New Grads Welcome

A Level 1 academic medical center in St. Louis, Missouri is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP, AGNP, AGPCNP, DNP, or FNP) to join a specialized Bone Marrow Transplant team at one of the Midwest's most respected academic health systems. This is a 100% inpatient, cutting-edge oncology role at the intersection of hematologic malignancy care, stem cell transplantation, and clinical research — with immediate physician support available via telecommunication and on-site throughout every shift. New graduates with RN experience in oncology are genuinely welcome, as are experienced APPs looking to deepen their specialty in BMT. Procedural responsibilities may include bone marrow biopsies and stem cell transplants — a rare scope of practice that sets this role apart from standard oncology NP positions. Key Responsibilities Provide 100% inpatient advanced practice care for bone marrow transplant patients Manage hematologic malignancy patients undergoing BMT and related therapies Perform procedural responsibilities including bone marrow biopsies and stem cell transplants Collaborate with attending physicians, fellows, and interdisciplinary BMT team Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives within the BMT division Monitor and manage treatment-related complications and disease-related toxicities Maintain accurate and timely inpatient clinical documentation Coordinate with immediate physician support via telecommunication and on-site backup Qualifications AGACNP, AGNP, AGPCNP, DNP, or FNP credential New graduates with oncology RN experience welcome Oncology rotation or RN background in oncology preferred Commitment to mission-driven, collaborative academic medicine Schedule & Compensation Experience-based competitive salary + potential hiring bonus Full-time | Three 13-hour night shifts/week (6:00 PM–7:00 AM) Rotating weekends and holidays Flexible scheduling available Retirement with employer match Comprehensive benefits within first 30 days Immediate hire #J-18808-Ljbffr
