About the Position
TransForce is seeking a Regional CDL A Driver for a full-time position based in Chillicothe, Missouri. This role involves regional deliveries to locally owned businesses and customers throughout Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay: $380 per day
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday
- 10- to 12-hour workdays
- Approximately two overnight trips per week
- Start times vary between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Central Time
- Must be flexible with start times and overnight travel
Job Details
- Regional routes covering Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas
- Freight consists of hardware products, with most loads palletized
- Touch freight requiring loading and unloading responsibilities
- Electric or manual pallet jack provided
- Operate 28-foot to 53-foot tractor-trailers
- Manual transmission experience required for day-cab equipment
- Hotel accommodations are provided and paid for during overnight routes
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on regional routes
- Deliver hardware products to businesses and customers
- Load and unload palletized freight using an electric or manual pallet jack
- Complete deliveries efficiently while providing professional customer service
- Follow all applicable transportation safety procedures and regulations
Minimum Requirements
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Class A CDL
- Manual transmission experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Ability to handle touch freight and overnight regional travel
