Overview Puget Sound Home Health and Hospice is seeking an experienced and caring full or part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Home Health division in the Pierce County area. Position: Full-Time (or part-time). Location: Pierce County. Schedule: Day shifts only (no nights). Care settings: Patient homes, assisted living facilities (ALFs), adult family homes (AFHs). Responsibilities Provide one‑on‑one care to multiple patients daily in their home settings, with visit‑based scheduling. Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing. Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure). Assist with range‑of‑motion exercises and mobility support. Maintain a clean and safe environment in the patient’s living space. Observe and report changes in the patient’s condition to the case manager. Follow the plan of care as directed by a registered nurse or therapist. Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Washington State. Must have CNA experience in a home health or hospice agency. Current BLS certification (American Heart Association required). Experience with HCHB EMR preferred. Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle. Must be 18 years or older. Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working with elderly or terminally ill individuals.
