Operations Support Specialist - PT

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking an Operations Support Specialist for a part time role. Position Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operations Support Specialist to join their team on a remote contract basis for an anticipated duration of 3+ months. This individual will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day operational functions, customer communications, loan servicing activities, and payment processing. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a compassionate customer-focused approach. This position is part-time, ranging from 16 to 24 hours per week, and requires the ability to quickly learn processes and become productive within a short onboarding period. Key Responsibilities:

• Process borrower disbursements through the company's payment platform, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures
• Manage and respond to inbound inquiries from borrowers and applicants regarding loan applications, account status, and servicing-related questions
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to address application-related questions and support customers throughout the loan application process
• Perform loan servicing activities for an existing portfolio, including reviewing first-payment default risk indicators and conducting borrower follow-up communications
• Execute high-volume email outreach to borrowers, applicants, and internal stakeholders as required
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within Salesforce and other internal systems
• Ensure all customer interactions are handled professionally, empathetically, and in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Support additional operational and administrative functions as needed
• 3+ years of experience in an Operations Support, Loan Operations, Customer Operations, Financial Services Operations, or similar role
• Experience managing customer inquiries and working in a high-volume administrative environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow multi-step processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Comfortable learning new systems and processes quickly
• Experience working remotely and independently

• Experience within lending, consumer finance, loan servicing, fintech, healthcare financing, or related industries
• Salesforce experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with payment processing platforms and operational workflows
• Experience supporting both customers and internal sales teams
