Program Administrator

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Program Administrator to support a Program Management Office (PMO) in managing complex technical programs. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills to assist in planning, tracking, and executing program activities across multiple functional areas. Key Responsibilities Support the PMO in day-to-day program management activities across multiple programs Gather, compile, analyze, and report on program data, including scheduling, financials, materials, labor, dashboards, and CDRL tracking Assist in defining program objectives and contribute to overall program planning efforts Develop and maintain detailed program schedules and work breakdown structures (WBS) Support budget development, tracking, and spend plan management Generate work packages and define task responsibilities through Work Authorization Documents (WADs) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of program deliverables Provide administrative and coordination support for program reviews and reporting Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Minimum of 3 years of relevant program or project management experience Experience in scheduling, program planning, budgeting, organization, and data management Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail Core Skills Project and program management Schedule development and tracking Budgeting and financial data analysis Data management and reporting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs Familiarity with both hardware and software development environments Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, technical setting Work Environment Onsite position based in an engineering and office environment 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off) Opportunity to support large-scale programs focused on advanced surveillance and reconnaissance systems Hands-on exposure to the design, development, and deployment of innovative engineering solutions Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, MD. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
