Patient Services Representative

Department: Oncology Admin

Shift: Days

Daily Work Times: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. variable

Scheduled Hours per Pay: 80

Position Summary

Provides clerical support to the Mid-Michigan Professional Recovery Program in a customer friendly and professional manner. Provides program information to new clients. Performs registration, posts charges and processes related information. Assists therapist with activities to enhance the program.

Qualifications:

Required:

1. High School diploma or equivalent. Related courses preferred.
2. Possess one year of related experience.
3. Ability to effectively communicate and present self to people in a courteous, tactful, and poised manner.
4. Familiar with and ability to use various software packages to include word processing and spreadsheet.
5. Demonstrates the successful judgment and ability to understand, react effectively and treat (if appropriate) the unique needs of patient age groups served: Adult & geriatric.
