About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years ER experience License: Missouri or Compact License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, CPI and MAB preferred Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of ER experience - Ability to manage dysrhythmias and patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Experience with IV therapy, central line care, and arterial line management - Proficient in cardiac and respiratory monitoring Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of ER experience. Holiday shifts may be required. Weekend shifts are required, with a total of 8 shifts during a 6-week scheduling period. Charge RN assignments may be needed as per unit requirements. The nurse will be responsible for managing adult and pediatric patients in a general emergency department setting. Skills in isolation precautions and triage are essential. Experience in a STEMI Certified Facility and Stroke Certified Facility is preferred. The nurse will need to manage ventilated patients and perform respiratory interventions such as BiPAP and CPAP. Documentation and experience with charting systems is preferred. This role may require floating to other departments, units, and facilities as needed. All applicants must complete compliance documentation prior to starting. The candidate must be open to working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of patient diagnoses.
