Material Handler IIJob Location: Tracy, CA, United States Job Duration: 12 Months Contract and high possibility of extension Shift: 8:00AM - 4:30 PM Pay rate: $20.00/Hour on W2Description:Receiving, storing, and distributing materials or productsOperating equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)Maintaining inventory accuracy and documentationLoading/unloading shipmentsQuality control activitiesCoordinating with team members or other departmentsEducation:High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience:Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related fieldExperience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers, forklifts) Order Picker/Cherry PickerPreferred: Experience in a cGMP environmentKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking softwareStrong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and documentationAbility to operate powered industrial equipment including forklifts and order pickers safelyPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularlyAbility to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periodsManual dexterity to operate equipment and handle materials safelyAbility to work in varying temperatures (warehouse conditions)Work Environment:Warehouse/distribution center settingMay include exposure to noise from equipment and machineryRequired to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety shoes and eye protectionFast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
