Summer Day Camp Program Supervisor

Assignment: 30 - 40 hours per week. All shifts will be between 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. June 16, 2026 - August 19, 2026 Starting wage range: Starting at $19.57/hr. Rates can be found in Appendix C. Not medical or dental benefit eligible.

Primary Objective of Positions: To plan, implement, and supervise theme-based summer day camp program for middle school children. To ensure a safe and fun atmosphere for all participants.

Job Responsibilities:

• Help plan enriching curriculum and program goals for 10 one-week programs.
• Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities consistent with class goals.
• Manage classroom, outdoor activities, and field trips; supervise and provide guidance for participants.
• Participate in all planned activities.
• Provide a safe, caring, fun environment for children.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Job Qualifications:

• B.A. or B.S. degree in education, child development, recreation, or a related field.
• Evidence of successful experience working with middle school aged students.
• Evidence of successful program leadership.
• Evidence of positive interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to children and adults.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
