Job Title: Laboratory Technician I
\nLocation: Huntsville, AL 35811
\nDuration: 12 Months Contract (Potential temp to perm)
\nPay Rate : $23/hr.
\nShift Time: 1st shift
\n \nJob Details:
\n- \n
- Level I: 0-3 years. \n
- Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance or research setting. \n
- Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative biological or chemical analytical tests according to standard procedures. \n
- Assists higher level technicians in setup of laboratory equipment and in recording data for experiments and procedures. \n
- Requires knowledge in using various instruments to prepare for and perform tests. Performs routine and safety program checks and preventive maintenance on instruments. \n
- This is an entry-level position. \n
- Typically requires a high school education or equivalent and no prior experience. \n
