Position Overview At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), we empower individuals and strengthen communities. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll help people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) complete everyday living tasks and achieve their goals. Position Details: Part‑time and full‑time hours available, multiple shifts including weekends. Location: Gates, NC and surrounding areas with regular local community travel. Compensation: $15.00/hour. Responsibilities Provide care in the home of the individual and in the community they live in. Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning; personal care such as bathing, dressing, toiletry, and diaper changes; and employment support. Transport the client to appointments and run errands. Help plan and organize their schedule. Document and report daily in the electronic health system of record. Benefits Competitive rates: $15/hour.
