Urgent Medsurg/ED Registered Nurse

12-hour night shifts, 12x3 schedule

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Medsurg/ED Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care across a variety of settings, including Medsurg (inpatient, observation, swing bed) and the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients with common diagnoses including CHF, COPD, post-op (ortho), pneumonia, UTI/AMS, and failure to thrive.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EMR (Athena) for documentation and patient care records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in Medsurg and ED settings.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and AHA Procedural Sedation Module are required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
