Litigation Paralegal

We’re hiring a civil litigation paralegal to assist our legal team in preparing and responding to discovery requests, drafting and filing motions, coordinating other day-to-day case activities, maintaining communication with clients, and conducting limited legal research. Compensation:
$63,500 yearly Responsibilities: Help lawyers prepare for trial by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with client meetings, filing motions, conducting research on legal articles, and organizing and coordinating witnesses Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits, under the supervision of a lawyer Take care of administrative tasks such as answering phones and maintaining an organized filing system for all legal documents Draft subpoenas and coordinate with process servers Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues Qualifications: Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is strongly preferred Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program, such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies; a Bachelor’s degree is desired Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting Excellent organizational skills and time-management skills About Company Khavari & Moghadassi, Attorneys at Law, is a north Dallas multi-practice law firm that offers a variety of legal services for clients in the North Texas region, including Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, Kaufman, Rockwall, and other nearby counties.
