We are seeking a drayage sales rep to join our growing team at BBI logistics. As a master of drayage solutions, you'll play a pivotal role in building and maintaining key client relationships while securing top-notch business opportunities. What you’ll be doing. Energize your creativity to identify and self-generate new leads within the drayage market in the US and MX. Seek out potential clients and establish initial contact. Be able to convert warm leads into a sale Initiate sales calls and develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders including shipping lines, logistics providers, freight forwarders, and port authorities Utilize your exceptional negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial agreements with clients, carriers, and suppliers Stay on the cutting edge of industry trends, keeping a finger on the pulse of the drayage landscape to capitalize on emerging opportunities Collaborate with team mates to ensure smooth and efficient drayage operations What you’ll bring to the table. Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling prospects and making a sale You are a master at closing the deal and you have proven experience in hunting and closing business International, drayage or logistics sales experience preferred 2+ years of professional sales experience preferred Willing to go the extra mile to do whatever it takes to get the job done Entrepreneurial and competitive spirit (if you’re not first, you’re last) Strong ability to sell and negotiate with confidence and a winning attitude Maintain composure in high-stress scenarios Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to recognize and prioritize profitable opportunities What you can earn.
