Senior Android Developer

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Android Developer in Irving, TX. Responsibilities:
- Senior Android Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain reliable, scalable, and high-performing mobile applications
- Apply software development best practices throughout the application lifecycle
- Develop clean, modular, and maintainable code using established design patterns and frameworks
- Create responsive and user-friendly applications that perform effectively across supported devices and operating systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and efficiency
- Conduct application testing to identify performance issues and support a consistent user experience
- Follow security best practices when handling access, authentication, data, and system integrations
- As a Senior Android Developer, you will integrate applications with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and other business systems
- Develop and maintain automated tests to support application quality and reliable releases
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards, development practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support build automation, deployment activities, application monitoring, release management, and production troubleshooting
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed
- Hands-on experience developing mobile applications using relevant programming languages, frameworks, and development tools
- Experience developing scalable and maintainable applications using established architecture and coding practices
- Experience integrating applications with APIs, backend services, databases, and other systems
- Experience with application testing, automated testing practices, and quality assurance processes
- Strong understanding of mobile application development principles, application lifecycles, system integrations, security, and device compatibility
- Familiarity with version control, automated build and deployment processes, release management, monitoring, and production support
- Strong collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and improve application performance, responsiveness, reliability, and stability
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems, make informed decisions, and communicate recommendations effectively
