Description As a Horizon Air flight attendant, representing Alaska Airlines, you must be an authentic and gracious host, knowledgeable about inflight service duties and safety procedures, and maintain a positive, approachable manner. Key duties include understanding safety regulations, ensuring aircraft safety equipment is in working order, greeting passengers, demonstrating use of safety equipment and emergency procedures, preparing and serving meals and beverages, effectively marketing onboard products, resolving passenger situations, answering questions about flight operations, and performing other duties as assigned. The first year step rate is $20.55 per contract. Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must have a high school diploma, minimum age of 21, U.S. work authorization, 2 years of customer or community service experience, dedication to safety, and physical ability to perform flight attendant duties. This role requires flexibility to work varied schedules, travel extensively and adaptability, basic computer literacy, and ability to communicate in English.
