Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring a Shipping Clerk for a toy distributor in Whitehouse, OH. As a Shipping Clerk, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and support daily inbound and outbound operations such as:
- Ensuring materials are received correctly
- Orders are shipped on time
- All records are maintained with a high level of accuracy and compliance
Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $20/h as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
1st shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 am- 4:30 pm. Overtime may be mandatory during the week and on Sundays.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate:
- Receive inbound shipments.
- Inspect incoming materials.
- Process outbound shipments.
- Stage, load, and unload trucks
- Update WMS/ERP systems
- Coordinate with carriers
- Assist with cycle counts
Required Qualifications of the Warehouse Associate:
- Experience with WMS systems
- Forklift certification (sit-down, stand-up- or reach truck).
- Knowledge of LTL, FTL, and parcel shipping processes.
- Familiarity of dock scheduling and carrier coordination
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
