Job Description And Duties Effective July 1, 2025 , in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit S19, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by three percent and will receive five PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period. Under the general direction of the Chief of Behavioral Health for Complex Care, the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker (SPSW) II is responsible for assisting in the preparation and improvement of program policies and procedures within the medical services division of integrated and complex care. The SPSW II provides program oversight and coordination between the various assessment and treatment components of the Complex Patient Care Program. The SPSW II also provides leadership and supervises SPSW I statewide to ensure standards of patient care are consistent with applicable State Law, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. This position may require occasional travel. Coordinates across multiple sites and programs to provide support to Alcohol and Other Drugs Counselor mentoring program and supportive housing, to include direct observation of program processes, through telehealth and direct observation at institutions.
