AEM Lead Developer

Salary: $112,000 - 152,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 11+ years of hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development experience and 5+ years in technical leadership or team lead roles.
• Were looking for experience delivering enterprise CMS and digital experience platforms.
• We require expertise in AEM Cloud Service, AEM DAM, custom workflows, metadata management, Apache Sling, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), and AEM Clientlibs.
• We require knowledge of AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service, including AEM Sites, Assets, Workflows, MSM, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
• We require proficiency with Java, J2EE, JCR, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and REST APIs, plus familiarity with microservices architecture.
• We expect experience with Git, Maven, and Cloud Manager.
• We value excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, and analytical skills, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively.
• Preferred: Adobe Certified Professional or Expert certification in AEM Cloud; experience with Vue.js or headless CMS architectures; and knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS.

• We rely on you to provide technical direction and architectural guidance for AEM implementations, lead design discussions, and promote development best practices.
• We expect you to review code, mentor developers, and uphold coding and enterprise security standards.
• You will design and build reusable AEM components, templates, workflows, and services, and implement AEM Sites, Assets, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
• You will develop custom OSGi services, Sling Models, servlets, and workflows; configure authoring, publishing, dispatcher, and replication environments; and create responsive components with HTL, Vue.js, JavaScript, and HTML.
• You will integrate AEM with third-party systems, including OpenSearch, and support AEM as a Cloud Service deployments and Adobe Cloud Manager pipelines.
• You will optimize AEM applications for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability, and carry out debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• We expect you to conduct technical reviews, testing, and deployment validations.
• You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, UX Designers, Business Analysts, and QA teams, and participate in Agile sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• You will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and contribute to successful cloud deployments, release management, and technical governance.
