Position Computer Operator – Houston, Texas 77042 – 12 months – Temporary Assignment – Onsite – Shift: 10:15 PM to 6:15 AM (days off most likely mid‑week). Job Description IT Computer Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling worldwide organizational projects and priorities, load adjustments per projects, batch balancing on all systems, Omega OCM / Cloud software and all computer systems, and interacting with internal and external customers, vendors, and support teams. Duties include monitoring, identifying, engaging, and resolving system alerts and supporting calls from internal and global Omega users. Essential Responsibilities and Duties Highly proficient with commands, programs, scripts, advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems. IT Operator Software Knowledge Windows Linux IT Operator Qualifications / Skills Communication skills Reporting skills Productivity Documentation skills Problem‑solving for software and hardware Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word Previous Experience and Competencies Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Minimum of 6 months related experience, training, or education Physical Demands: Ability to regularly stand, crouch, stoop, walk, push, and pull carts and equipment; must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
