CT Tech Travel Position

This is a travel position for a CT Tech. The schedule is Thursday through Saturday. The unit typically has 4 techs and a supervisor daily. On weekends, there are 3 day staff and 1 night staff. Day shift consists of 2 techs, with one working from 7 AM to 5 PM and another from 9 AM to 9 PM. Afternoon techs work Monday to Friday from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. During the night shift, 1 tech works from 7 PM to 7 AM, with cross-training for a tech located in X-ray who rotates between X-ray and CT. The unit is equipped with 2 in-house scanners, a 128-slice and a 16-slice, along with 1 mobile unit (64-slice). The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include CTA, ABD PELV, and CAP PELV. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, have the ability to be a self-starter, and possess critical thinking skills. Candidates should have a willingness to work as part of a team. Night shift experience with trauma level I or II is preferred. Experience with GE equipment, Meditech, and Centricity PACS is advantageous.
