Sentara Obici Hospital located in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Surgery Unit. Responsibilities Perform competent nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching and health promotion, and evaluation). Provide clinical knowledge and skills in the required specific clinical area. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, communicate effectively, and demonstrate leadership and professional performance. Participate in quality improvement, evidence‑based practice, and environmental health initiatives. Experience & Education Prefer Registered Nurses with acute‑care experience. New‑grad RNs who are licensed may be considered. Education: RN‑Associate’s Degree RN‑Bachelor’s Degree RN‑Diploma RN‑Master’s Degree Certification/Licensure: Virginia or Compact Multi‑state RN license in good standing. ACLS & PALS or ENPC required within one (1) year of hire. BLS required within 90 days of hire.
