Engagement Coordinator

Engagement Coordinator at Thomas Jefferson University The Engagement Coordinator is responsible for managing customer service plans designed to convert first‑year, transfer, graduate, and international students through each stage of the enrollment funnel. The Coordinator will assist with the recruitment and training of student employees and oversee the team who work in the Office of Admissions. Essential Functions Interact with co‑workers, visitors, and other staff in a manner consistent with Jefferson values. Respond to all inbound Admissions and Financial Aid communications (phone, email, text, chat) and direct students to appropriate staff when needed. Develop and execute a customer‑service–oriented strategy for qualifying leads, communicating with prospective students, cultivating strong applicant relationships, and tracking recruitment performance from inquiry through enrollment. Lead and mentor the student ambassador program, fostering a community of high‑quality interactions and professional development for Jefferson students. Directly manage the daily operations of the East Falls and Center City Admissions Visit Centers. Competencies Technical: Slate by Technolutions CRM experience preferred. Client Services: daily collaboration with administrative partners, prospective students, high‑school and community‑college counselors. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Organizational Leadership/Development, or Higher Education Leadership/Administration. Professional experience: 0+ years; management/leadership experience: 0+ years. Experience in undergraduate and/or graduate admissions office strongly preferred. Slate by Technolutions experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) required.
