Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Setting: Hospital / Acute Care

Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with option to extend

Shift: 10-hour shifts

Schedule: Rotating shift; 4 x 10s

Travel Pay

$3,475.63 - $3,861.81 weekly

Job Summary

Provide safe, accurate, and timely pharmacy services in a hospital / acute care setting. Review medication orders, support medication distribution, collaborate with the care team, and promote safe medication-use practices.

Job Qualifications

· Graduate of an accredited school or college of pharmacy.

· Current California Pharmacist license required.

· Recent pharmacy experience appropriate to the assigned setting.

· Strong clinical judgment, medication-safety, communication, and organizational skills.

· Ability to work the listed shift and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

· Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, dosing, allergies, interactions, and appropriateness.

· Prepare, dispense, and oversee safe medication distribution.

· Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

· Maintain required documentation and follow applicable pharmacy standards and regulations.
