Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Coordinate and deliver comprehensive surgical patient care before, during, and after procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist surgeons and operating room staff with intraoperative tasks, ensuring sterile protocols are maintained.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes or complications.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all safety standards, facility policies, and infection control guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in electronic medical records.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a registered nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 2 years perioperative experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate extensive knowledge of cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular procedures.
  
  
• 
  Be capable of working a 13-week assignment with potential on-call responsibilities.
  
  
• 
  Be willing to float to other units if required, adhering to facility policies.
  
  
• 
  Hold current certification in BLS and PALS if applicable.
  
  
• 
  Possess the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations and communicate effectively.
