Job Title

Travel RN – ICU / Critical Care (Surge)

Location

Woodstock, VA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 3x12s (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend and holiday required | No on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 4-bed Critical Care / Step-Down unit with a 1:4 patient ratio, serving a population of primarily adults and teens
• Utilize EPIC EMR for all documentation and patient management
• Monitor and manage critically ill and step-down patients, applying advanced clinical assessment and intervention skills
• May be floated to a Med/Surg unit (24-bed unit, 6:1 ratio) as needed
• Adhere to facility dress code: navy blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license or Compact RN license
• ACLS certification (AHA only)
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• Minimum 2+ years of ICU RN experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required
• Mid-November start — candidates available prior to that date should note this requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Critical Care Step-Down or Progressive Care settings
• Familiarity with mixed adult and adolescent patient populations
