Physical Therapist

Overview Physical Therapist - EPIC Conversion. This is a temporary assignment focused on supporting the facility during a critical transition. The role involves providing physical therapy services to patients and assisting with an EPIC conversion project. The ideal candidate will have experience with both EPIC and Cerner EMR systems and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will evaluate patients' physical abilities, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to improve mobility and function, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety during the conversion process. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients' physical abilities and limitations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Provide patient education on therapeutic exercises and activities. Participate in the EPIC conversion process, ensuring accurate documentation and data entry. Maintain a safe and clean working environment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university. Current California Physical Therapy license or eligible for registration. AHA BLS Certification. Minimum 6 months of EPIC experience within the last 12 months. Cerner experience. Preferred Qualifications Member of the APTA. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in EPIC and Cerner EMR systems. Strong clinical skills in physical therapy assessment and treatment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques. Ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows.
