Summer Camp Counselor

Who we are Camp Cody is a co-ed Summer Camp in Freedom, New Hampshire. Since 1926, we have been providing unique experiences for campers and staff of all ages worldwide. Our Cody team is made up of teachers, athletes, coaches, creatives, hikers, bikers, travelers, and so much more. Together, we provide a safe and fun environment where campers and staff create life-long memories. What you’ll be doing As a Summer Camp Counselor, you'll have the chance to lead a wide range of activities. With over fifty activities offered at Camp Cody, we are always looking for counselors with talents in sports, creative arts, lifeguarding, and water activities who can share their passion with campers. You will be an integral part of creating a supportive, inclusive environment where campers from diverse backgrounds feel welcomed and engaged. Your role involves guiding youth through daily life at camp, promoting teamwork through activities, and encouraging personal growth. This is a great opportunity for those passionate about working with youth and building meaningful experiences! What we need from you Facilitate engaging programs and activities that are appropriate for the age and abilities of campers. Supervise and support campers, ensuring their safety, growth, and well-being throughout the camp. Be a positive role model, helping campers develop confidence, social skills, and a love for outdoor adventure. What skills & experience you bring to us A passion for working with children. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced camp environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Enthusiasm, positivity, and a willingness to embrace the spirit of camp life. Salary & benefits Camp Cody offers a competitive salary ($400 per week, increased based on experience), room and board, staff training, weekly laundry service, camp t-shirts, weekly day-off, access to our snack-stocked staff lounge, and lifelong friendships!
