Administrative Assistant

Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant I provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Primary Responsibilities: Greet guests, clients, and visitors; answer inquiries and direct them to appropriate destinations. Answer and route incoming phone calls; take messages and transfer calls as needed. Assist Group Management & Marketing team Set up new groups Evaluate & prepare group census’ to determine eligibility for group coverage Follow up to fulfill carrier requirements as needed Provided support to agents Assist Commissions department Data entry of commission received Process and monitor incoming commissions Reconcile statements with receipts Organize & file all documents Data entry of new applications Update status of pending applications Monitor processing of data files from carriers Manage various mailboxes Review and distribute as appropriate File Schedule supply orders as needed Other duties as assigned Primary Skills & Requirements: At least High School Diploma required Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office specially with Excel and Acrobat. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and planning skills. Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email. Shift: Monday-Friday Pay: $22-$24 #J-18808-Ljbffr
