Registered Nurse (RN) - Med SurgThe Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post-Surgical/Inpatient department plays a critical role in managing patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures. This position involves responsibilities that ensure the well-being and recovery of patients during their post-operative period.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and assess vital signs of patients recovering from surgery.Administer medications and provide post-operative care.Observe and manage patients for potential post-operative complications.Collaborate with nursing staff and support personnel to ensure comprehensive patient care.Act as a primary point of contact for nursing operations during overnight shifts.Utilize physician on-call services for emergency situations.Shift DetailsSchedule: Night shifts, 1900-0700 (12-hour shifts).Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week.Weekend and holiday rotations required.QualificationsActive Registered Nurse License in Kansas or a multistate license.Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.Experience in Med Surg or a similar nursing specialty preferable.LocationThis position is located in Kansas.Application InformationPlease include your current availability for interviews when applying.
