We are currently recruiting for an Operations Specialist to work in our Technology Services department. The individual chosen will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operations of all of the Credit Union's computer systems. Ideal candidates will have an in-depth understanding of PCs and a basic knowledge of networks along with the ability to implement all aspects of hardware and/or software rollout for desktops and laptops.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing daily computer operations tasks as scheduled; responsible for the operation of the CORE system and related hardware.
  
• Interface with users as needed to maintain production environment; starting and monitoring batch and on-line jobs; working with and communicating any hardware problems to management and appropriate vendors as needed.
• Providing technical assistance on hardware, software, or communication problems encountered by the credit union staff.
• Researching, modifying, testing, and installing hardware and software additions or replacements.
• Monitoring help-desk phone lines; entering appropriate information into help-desk software for assignment and tracking.
• Managing any problems relating to the credit union operations services or systems to the appropriate vendor.
