Operations Manager

Our client is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. About the role: We are seeking a driven and experienced Operations Manager to lead daily production operations at our aluminum recycling facility. This role is responsible for overseeing production, safety, quality, and team leadership to ensure efficient plant performance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Drive and develop the culture of Safety First Develop and mentor supervisors and team leaders to strengthen leadership capability within the plant Direct plant production operations, and establish priorities in keeping with effective operations and cost factors Establish, plan, direct, and support production priorities and schedule activities Lead change management initiatives and help drive operational improvements across the facility Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to meet and/or exceed KPI's Development and implementation of improvement action plans for each area of responsibility to ensure year-over-year improvement in critical plant metrics. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in business, operations management, engineering Minimum five years’ experience in a manufacturing operations role with three years managerial experience, preferably heavy industrial Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement tools preferred Solid understanding of Change Management tools and concepts preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Movement Search & Delivery
