To do so, we must continue shaping the future of communications by applying the best minds to the challenges our customers will continually face.We currently seek a Maintenance Supervisor to help support our Facilities Department in our Norcross location.Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage relationships with contractors and service providersMonitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessaryMonitor critical systems of facilities to ensure functionalityPlan and oversee all repair and installation activitiesManage and direct day-to-day Trades personnel work assignmentsMaintain maintenance logs and report on daily activitiesEnsure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when requiredEnsure health and safety policies are in complianceHAZWOPER CertifiedAllocate workload and supervise janitorial and landscaping staff. Use in-house CMMS to create, manage and report day-to-day work assignments and preventive maintenance activitiesCoordinate off-hours and weekend workParticipate in the on-call duty roster for critical or emergency eventsPerform other related duties as required.Key qualifications:5+ years of maintenance leadership in progressive roles; 7+ years in a manufacturing environmentSix-sigma Green/Black Belt Certification and Lean Certification a plusKnowledge of Fiber Optic Industry desirableSAP Experience preferred Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word and Power Point; Acute ability to understand and use data for continuous improvementExperience working in a Union environmentWorking at LIGHTERA means having the opportunity to realize ideas, experience innovation and discover new solutions for the future.
