Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: Ongoing 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, flexible Employment Type: Staff Essential Functions Perform advanced respiratory therapy treatments and procedures, including mechanical ventilation and critical care management. Assess patients' respiratory status and develop comprehensive care plans. Monitor and evaluate patients' responses to therapy and make necessary adjustments. Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and management of respiratory conditions. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care. Ensure all respiratory therapy equipment is properly maintained and functioning. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards.
