Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team as an RN Job Description: - Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (Nights) - Overview: - Be a vital part of our patient care team! - Deliver exceptional direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process in a fast-paced environment. - Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough assessments upon patient admission: - Gather past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, and diagnostic tests. - Collaborate in developing and implementing personalized care plans under physician direction. - Qualifications: - Education: - Bachelor's degree preferred. - Graduate from an approved School of Nursing required. - Current New Hampshire RN License or eligibility to obtain one. - Certifications: - BLS certification mandatory. - ACLS certification required. - PALS certification preferred. - CPI certification preferred. - Experience: - Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred. - Essential Skills: - Ability to perform standard assessments using basic equipment. - Strong visual acuity and hand-eye coordination for medication administration. - Maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. - Adhere to patient safety standards. - Foster positive interactions with team members and patients. - Respect patients' diverse backgrounds and lifestyles in care planning. - Welcome constructive criticism and handle emotional responses positively. - Shift Information: - Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. - Holiday coverage required.
