Every element of our environment—from residential spaces to fitness and wellness facilities—is intentionally designed to support recovery, resilience, and a return to service.We are seeking a skilled and driven Maintenance Manager to help sustain this mission-critical environment. In this role, you will provide hands-on leadership to ensure the campus remains safe, compliant, and fully operational.What You'll DoWorking closely with the facility leadership team, you will oversee the daily operations, safety, and long-term functionality of the campus.Core ResponsibilitiesProtect and maintain the facility's physical assets through proactive maintenance and planningReview and respond to recommendations from regulatory, planning, and inspection agenciesEnsure compliance with all applicable laws, codes, and healthcare regulations, including Joint Commission standardsSupervise daily maintenance operations, repairs, and preventative maintenance programsMaintain high standards across patient areas, offices, and staff spacesLead fire and life safety efforts, including drills and upkeep of alarms, extinguishers, signage, and evacuation plansAdditional ResponsibilitiesOversee contractor and vendor performance and communicate updates to the Operations DirectorSupport budget management, including tracking expenditures for materials and equipmentParticipate in training, in-service education, and ongoing professional developmentPerform additional duties as assignedWhy This Role MattersAt the IAFF Center of Excellence, the environment is part of the treatment.
