Laboratory Analyst II (Metals/ICP) - Eurofins Environment Testing Northeast - North Kingstown, RI
$26 - $32 per hourEurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Laboratory Analyst II will perform environmental sample preparation and analysis using ICP and related instrumentation, including method selection, instrument operation, data validation, and LIMS entry. The role requires expertise in metals analysis and compliance with quality assurance standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and batch environmental samples according to client and QA requirements
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain ICP and laboratory instruments
- Perform Level I data review and upload results to LIMS system
- Select appropriate analysis methods for organic and inorganic samples
- Maintain laboratory logbooks, housekeeping standards, and inventory supplies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, or 3 years laboratory experience
- 2+ years hands-on ICP-MS and ICP-OES experience with EPA methods 200.7, 200.8, 6010, 6020
- 2+ years environmental or analytical laboratory experience with sample digestion
- Knowledge of TNI/NELAC quality control requirements
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and follow written or verbal instructions
Compensation: $26-32/hr
