Linux System Administrator

Seeking a collaborative and technically proficient Linux System Administrator, the full-time remote position will manage Linux infrastructure across data center and cloud environments, handle OS lifecycle management, and design automation processes for long-term scalability. Key responsibilities Provide remote support for Linux infrastructure and manage the full OS lifecycle, including installation and upgrades Design and implement automation for infrastructure deployment and operations using scripting and tools like Ansible Troubleshoot complex server issues and deliver detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports Required qualifications 8 to 10 years of overall experience in IT infrastructure administration, with at least 5+ years in Linux Extensive experience in Linux Server administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.) Proficiency in bash scripting and automation for system administration Understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Firewall basics) Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, DevOps, or similar) are a plus
