RN School Based-FLOAT-Cleveland Central Area

Job Title RN School-Based Permanent Substitute Float (must be willing to drive up to 35 miles to cover a school; no nights, weekends, holidays, or summers). Location Cleveland Central Region. Overview PSI is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support public, private, and charter schools in the Cleveland area as a permanent substitute float. This role impacts children’s health and well-being while offering a flexible work schedule. Benefits Flexible scheduling: 2 to 5 days a week based on availability. Guaranteed 7 hours per day of work. Year-end bonus based on performance. Supportive, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care and support to students in various school settings. Assess student health needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions. Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment. Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA. Qualifications Current RN license through the Ohio Board of Nursing (required). Knowledge of communicable disease prevention and medication protocols. Preference for school-based or pediatric experience. Collaborative, team-oriented approach; ability to work effectively with staff, parents, and students. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Current CPR certification and ability to pass a comprehensive background check. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of HIPAA laws and ability to maintain confidentiality.
