Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a patient ratio of 1:2
• Float to Stepdown and Medical/Surgical departments as needed, with Stepdown ratios of 1:3–4
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
• Participate in on-call requirements as assigned (infrequently needed)
• Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, including at least one winter holiday
• Work within a 16-bed unit managing a mix of ICU, Stepdown, and Medical/Surgical overflow patients

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Ability and willingness to float to Stepdown and Medical/Surgical departments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Comfort working in a mixed-acuity environment including ICU and Stepdown patients
