Hospitalist

*Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group (PAFMG) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OBGYN physician to join our OB Hospitalist Program at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, California.* Our collaborative, team-based program provides 24/7 in-house obstetric and gynecologic care, with one physician covering at a time. This role offers the opportunity to practice hospital-based obstetrics in a highly supportive environment with strong specialty backup. *Responsibilities include:* * OB triage, patient evaluation, and management * Delivery attendance and surgical assistance * Emergency Cesarean deliveries (support available from trauma surgery if needed) * Gynecologic consults and urgent/emergent surgery * Fetal monitoring and ED coverage for OB/GYN patients You'll work closely with local OBGYNs, MFM specialists at a nearby sister hospital, and an in-house team that includes pediatric hospitalists, trauma surgeons, anesthesiologists, adult hospitalists, intensivists, and emergency medicine physicians. *Qualifications:* * Active and unrestricted California medical license * Current DEA license *Why Join Us:* As part of Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group (PAFMG), you'll be joining one of the largest and most respected multi-specialty groups in the Bay Area.
