Assistant Manager – Dairy Queen (Winter Garden, FL)
Pay up to $20/hr + growth opportunities
Dairy Queen Winter Garden is looking for a high-energy, positive Assistant Manager who loves working with people and leading a team. If you want to grow your restaurant management career and be part of a fun, fast-paced, family-oriented environment, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate crew to deliver fast, friendly, accurate service.
- Support all daily restaurant operations (FOH & BOH).
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and product quality.
- Train, coach, and develop team members.
- Assist General Manager with labor costs, food costs, and scheduling.
- Manage cash handling, inventory, and shift paperwork.
- Resolve guest issues quickly and professionally.
- Support local marketing events and community partnerships.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and team-focused atmosphere.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of restaurant or fast-food management experience (QSR preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- ServSafe® certified (or able to become certified).
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs.
- Passion for great guest service and team development.
