Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand each client's unique mental health challenges, leading to the development of effective and tailored treatment plans. \n
- Provide individual therapy sessions using client-centered techniques to foster personal growth, resilience, and overall well-being. \n
- Work collaboratively with clients to establish therapeutic goals, regularly tracking their progress and adjusting approaches as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. \n
- Offer teletherapy services, ensuring clients have easy access to mental health care, particularly for those with mobility issues or other barriers to in-person visits. \n
- Maintain accurate and ethical documentation of all client interactions and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and organizational guidelines. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and remain abreast of the latest evidence-based practices. \n
As a licensed marriage and family therapist at Alvita Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients grappling with various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Your role will be to support individuals and families through tailored therapeutic interventions, facilitating a path towards emotional healing and healthier relationships.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution. \n

- Empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and struggles. \n
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle administrative responsibilities while managing a client caseload. \n

- Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy. \n
- Previous experience working with specific populations, such as youth, couples, or individuals recovering from addiction, is highly beneficial. \n
