Procurement Manager - Direct Material

Procurement Manager for direct materials at a biologics manufacturing facility in Madison, Wisconsin. The role involves sourcing GMP materials, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost savings initiatives while supporting operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Manage sourcing and purchasing of GMP raw materials for biologics manufacturing
Build and maintain supplier relationships and performance programs
Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and supply agreements
Identify and mitigate supply shortages and material risks
Drive cost savings and support dual-sourcing and supplier qualification efforts

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related field
5+ years of procurement experience
Strong contract negotiation skills
Experience managing suppliers and procurement projects
Knowledge of GMP environments and direct materials sourcing
Experience in biopharma, pharma, medical device, or regulated manufacturing preferred
