Vision:

The Area Director role not only involves the execution of personal responsibilities but also inspiring a sense of teamwork and collaboration among their team members and supervisors. They train and develop team leaders and provide assistance to oversee all aspects of the stream of REMARKable experiences!

Responsibilities:

1. Leads innovation and growth within their respective area and daypart
2. Engages team members to execute the winning hearts every day strategy
3. Creates and executes yearly and 90-day plans based on WIG goals
4. Assists the Executive Director of Talent (EDoT) with training and recruiting
5. Develops and maintains area specific processes and systems
6. Leads a team of ~3 supervisors by actively participating in operations and leadership development
7. Communicates training and onboarding opportunities to EDoT
8. Prepare for and participate in the weekly director meetings

Performance Metrics:

1. CEM scores
2. Food safety and/or Drive-thru composite score
3. Labor/Productivity metrics

Requirements:

1. Has or is currently working towards a Bachelor's degree.
2. Is committed to being a part of the leadership team for the next 2 years
3. Available full time from 6 am-3 pm or 2 pm-11 pm.

The Chick-fil-A story started in 1946 when Samuel Truett Cathy opened his first restaurant, Dwarf Grill, in Hapeville, Georgia. Credited with inventing the original boneless breast chicken sandwich, Mr. Cathy founded Chick-fil-A, Inc. in the 1960s. He pioneered the establishment of restaurants in shopping malls by opening the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in a mall in suburban Atlanta in 1967.
